Warbat is very similar to Baklava except it’s filled with cream. Thin envelopes made with flaky layers of Phyllo pastry brushed with ghee (clarified butter) are filled with cream, sealed then baked quickly in the oven. While still hot the crispy triangles are drizzled with a rose water flavored simple syrup and which keeps them fresh and moist.
